Rugby in the beginning
William Webb Ellis was playing football at Rugby School of England in 1823. He picked up the ball in his hands and ran with it. This was the creation of rugby. Today, the Six Nations Rugby tournament is famous. The countries who play are England, Scotland, Ireland, Wales, France and Italy.
