Fiche élève 2
Type de production attendue Dancers shouldn’t drink alcohol before Grand Entry, and shouldn’t sit on other dancers’ blankets without permission. They had better dance as many dances as they can, and shouldn’t stop dancing before everybody. They had better not refuse to dance with the first lady if they don’t want to pay her five or ten dollars! Women aren’t allowed to sit in the first row of a drum, but they are allowed to sing and sit behind their husbands... Singers ought to know all the songs they are asked to sing. Rhythm and harmony are important; a singer shouldn’t sing too loud and a drummer shouldn’t lose the beat! Each participant should have fun and should not forget that without the drum, there is no pow-wow!
